Manage your overlay links
All your overlay links live in one place in your account. Here is how to find them, what the counters mean, and what you can adjust without ever touching OBS again.
The short version
- Your links are in Configure my purchases, from your profile.
- Each link works on up to 2 devices. Reopening it on a device you already used does not count again.
- Adjustments are saved to the same link: paste it in OBS once, never again.
Where do I find my overlay links?
Open your profile and go to Configure my purchases. It has two lists:
- My generated overlay links: the links you created from the configurator.
- My shop purchases: the designs you bought in the shop.
Open any of them to copy its OBS link, see its counters and adjust how it behaves on stream.
How does the 2-device limit work?
- A link is personal. It can be opened on up to 2 devices: your main streaming PC and a spare.
- The counter shows it. Each link displays Devices used, for example 1 / 2, and the date it was last opened.
- Reopening is free. Opening the link again on a device you already used does not count twice.
- At the limit, opening the link on a third device shows a blocked message instead of your overlay.
If both devices are used and you replaced one of them, write to support from the support page with the link concerned. Sharing a link beyond 2 devices breaks the Terms and can get the link disabled.
How does the design changes counter work?
A Standard link shows Design changes, for example 3 / 5 remaining. A change is counted only when you apply a new version of the design from the configurator; editing and previewing are free. After applying, refresh the Browser Source in OBS or reopen the link to see the new version.
When no change is left, the link keeps working with its last design. Publishing another version then requires a new link. Premium and Creator plans let you edit generated links at any time.
What can I adjust without changing my link?
Each link has its own settings page. Everything you save there updates the same link, so your OBS scene does not change.
- Stick movement: how far the sticks move on screen, from subtle to expressive.
- Dead zones: hide the drift of a worn stick at rest, or treat a stick as fully pushed before its stops.
- Trigger fill: L2 and R2 change color at once, or fill from the bottom up to show how long they are held.
- Visibility: hide the controller when you stop playing, after a delay you choose.
- Editable text: personalize the text zones a design allows.
None of these settings change what your game receives or add input lag. They only change the picture.
Why would a link stop working?
- It is opened on a third device: see Devices.
- The controller is not detected, which looks like an empty overlay: see Controller not detected.
- The link was disabled by Padcraft. The cases, and what you get back, are in Refunds and replacements.
What happens in common situations?
- A desktop at home and a laptop for events: those are your two devices. Each one counts once, however often you reopen the link.
- Two OBS profiles or scene collections on the same PC: still one device.
- A reinstalled Windows or a new browser profile: it can be seen as a new device. If that puts you over the limit, write to support.
- A friend wants your overlay: links are personal. They can design their own for free, or you can share the design idea, not the link.
