Refunds and replacements
A plain-language summary of what happens to your purchase if something goes wrong, and how to ask for a refund or a replacement.
The short version
- If Padcraft removes or disables something you paid for, and it is not your fault, you choose between a replacement of equal value and a refund.
- After fraud, abuse or a breach of the Terms, no refund is due.
- Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time: access continues until the end of the paid period.
The Terms of Sale and Use are the reference. If this page and the Terms ever differ, the Terms apply.
Can I cancel a purchase after buying it?
Designs and overlay links are digital content delivered immediately. Under the rules for digital content, the 14-day right of withdrawal may not apply once you have started using the content with your express consent. Check the design and your controller in the configurator before you buy: previewing is free.
When do I get a refund or a replacement?
Padcraft can remove a design from the catalog or disable an overlay link, even after it was paid for. When the reason is not attributable to you, you choose between a replacement of equivalent value and a refund of the amount paid for that design or link. This covers, for example:
- a credible claim that the design infringes someone else's rights;
- a serious security or technical problem;
- a storage or hosting constraint on Padcraft's side, including the loss of assets the design depends on;
- the retirement of a controller model or engine feature the design depends on;
- a binding legal or regulatory request;
- the retirement of duplicate links: when several links on your account point to the same or nearly the same design, Padcraft may keep the most recent one. You are informed by email.
Padcraft gives notice by email before disabling a paid link whenever it is practical, except when an immediate takedown is required by law or by a rights holder.
When is no refund due?
- fraud, or a payment chargeback;
- use of a link beyond its 2-device limit;
- content or use that breaches the Terms or the shop rules.
How do refunds work for subscriptions?
- Cancel at any time from the billing page. Access continues until the end of the period already paid, and no further payment is taken.
- No free trial. A paid plan is billed as soon as the subscription starts.
- Price or plan changes are announced in advance and apply from the next billing cycle, never to a period already paid. You can cancel before they take effect, at no cost.
- If Padcraft removes something you rely on for a reason that is not yours, the refund covers the unused part of the paid period.
